Who is IMFO?

The Institute of Municipal Finance Officers (IMFO) is a professional body that was established in 1929. The Institute is registered in terms of Section 21 of the Companies Act and is an Association Not for Gain.

Composition of the Institute

The Institute is managed by a Council that is elected annually at the Institute's Annual General Meeting and consists of a President, two Vice-Presidents as well as a number of additional members who represent all nine provinces of South Africa. The Institute Council is supported by six standing committees, nine provincial branches.
